Every feature below is built into the app.
A form on sold-out products
A Notify me form appears on a product page only when the variant is sold out. Add it in the theme editor as an app block, or switch on the app embed for themes that cannot take blocks. There is no theme code to edit.
Restocks found automatically
Shopify tells the app when a variant is back in stock, and an hourly check catches anything missed.
Stock checked again before every alert
Moments before each email goes out, the app checks stock again. If the item has sold out once more, the alert is not sent and the shopper stays on the list. A check cannot stop an item selling out in the seconds after it.
Batches sized to the stock
When only a few units come back, alerts go out in batches sized to that stock, so a small restock does not email every shopper at once. The batch size and the gap between batches are settings you can change.
A log that says why
Every sign-up and every alert is in a log. When an alert is waiting or was not sent, the log gives a plain reason, such as still out of stock, this cycle's allowance used up, or the shopper unsubscribed.
Your email, your wording
Edit the alert email, see a preview as you go, and send yourself a test. Every alert carries an unsubscribe link, with no tracking pixel and no click tracking.
Your list is yours
Export your waiting list as a CSV, or import one from another app (you confirm that those people asked to be told). Shoppers who sign up are added to your Customers with a back-in-stock tag.
How it works
A shopper on a sold-out product page enters their email address to ask for one alert.
When the item is back, the app sends alerts in batches sized to the stock, checking stock again before each one.
Every alert, and the reason for any that was not sent, is in your log.

How the allowance works
Alerts are counted per 30-day billing cycle (on Free, per 30 days from install). Each plan includes the number of alerts shown. On a paid plan, alerts keep going past the included number, up to twice that number in the cycle, with no extra charge.
After that, new alerts wait until the next cycle starts or you upgrade, and each waiting alert is checked for stock again before it is sent. The Free plan has no extra allowance: after the included alerts, new ones wait. No plan bills for alerts beyond its price.
Shoppers and products are unlimited on every plan, and every feature is on every plan. Plans change on Shopify's plan page, from the app's Plan page or the Shopify admin, without contacting us or reinstalling.
